Bar Supervisor
- Full time
- Trentham East VIC

The front bar is the room most of Trentham East walks into first. We want someone who runs it like a host, not a dispenser.
Open and close the bar, run the cellar rotation, and keep thirty-six taps honest. Own the cocktail list alongside the head chef's menu changes. Supervise two to three staff across a shift, including the Friday and Saturday peaks. Handle RSA properly and without theatre — this is a country pub and everyone has to get home.
Three years behind a bar, at least one supervising. Current Victorian RSA. Right to work in Australia. Real cellar knowledge: line cleaning, gas, keg rotation, and why a bad pour is usually not the beer.
Above-award pay, penalty rates, and a genuine say in the list. Four weeks of leave, rostered fairly. Paid trade days with the brewers and distillers we actually buy from.
The whole brigade eats together before doors. Proper food off the same section you will be running.
Award and above, full penalty rates on weekends and public holidays, and every trial shift is paid at rate.
Published a fortnight and a half ahead so the rest of your life can be planned around it.
Trentham East is rural. Finish times account for the road home, and we help sort transport for late closes.
Paid time with our growers, brewers and the distillery — the cellar list is learned at the source.
For you and yours, dining in or taking home. Book it like anyone else; we will find you a table.
Tell us who you are and attach your CV. We read every application and get back to you either way.
A CV and a few lines about the work you want. Every application is read and answered within the week.
Half an hour with the head chef or the floor manager, in the front bar. Ask us the hard questions.
One full shift at rate, on the section you would run. An honest look at us, and at you.
